Weather safety disclaimer

Storm Hawks provides severe-weather content, live streams, and reports for informational purposes only. Nothing on this site is an official forecast or warning and it is not a substitute for guidance from the National Weather Service or your local emergency officials. Storm chasing is dangerous and should be left to trained, experienced teams. Always follow official warnings, and never put yourself in the path of a storm.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Submissions and content

When you submit a storm report, photos, or videos, you confirm that the content is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you own it or have permission to share it. You grant Storm Hawks a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share your submission in connection with our coverage, including on our website, streams, and social media. You can ask us to remove your submission at any time.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or unlawful content.
• Upload material that infringes someone else’s rights or that you do not have permission to share.
• Attempt to disrupt, attack, or gain unauthorized access to the site or other users’ accounts.
• Misuse team features, including falsifying timeclock or location data.

Team membership

Applying to or participating in the team does not create an employment relationship unless separately agreed in writing. Roles, permissions, trainings, and certifications are managed at our discretion and may be changed or revoked at any time.
