Storm Hawk conducted tropical storm observations in Navarre, Florida, collecting wind data and analyzing storm conditions. Field measurements recorded winds around 45 mph on the outer bands and up to 65 mph.

Operations During the recent tropical storm event, Storm Hawk deployed field observation systems to monitor changing weather conditions and collect valuable storm data. Our mobile command operations focused on tracking wind conditions, storm structure, and environmental changes throughout the event. During the outer edges of the storm system, our instruments recorded sustained wind speeds averaging around 45 mph, showing the increasing influence of the storm’s circulation away from the center. As we moved closer into the stronger inner bands of the system, wind speeds increased significantly, reaching approximately 65 mph. These stronger winds highlighted the storm’s most active areas and demonstrated the importance of real-time weather monitoring during tropical systems. Using advanced weather equipment and field technology, Storm Hawk continues to improve severe weather observations by collecting data that helps researchers better understand storm behavior.
